Looking at putting a manual s10 steering box on my 76 olds 98. does anyone know if it will bolt up to Frame? How about pitman arm? Haven't picked one up yet just trying to find out if I'm going in right direction or if I'm just out to lunch on this one. Thanks Why do you wanna do that?

Just loop the lines and fill it up with fluid, about as simple as that.

My 72 Bonneville keeps bending upper control arms, its all stock suspension with big block springs. Any way to prevent this or why it keeps happening?

Thanks The s10 box bolts on but you need a pitman arm that fits the s10 box I've found 2 sizes of shafts on the s10 boxes. The 4 bolts boxes have the same size as the old iron boxes.

What do I need to tell the guy who is going to ream my spindles? I need the lower bj and tie rod done. What kind of taper or measurement? 75 Electra 225 trying to put 88 brougham spindles onto. I got the car with no spindles, so I'm just trying to get it rolling.

I think this might be what you are looking for. Ball joint ream But Im not positive, because I never run stock balljoints. It works for the used Moog/Nascar ones.

Got the spindles taken care of. Picking them up today. I decided it was cheaper and less headache to let somebody else do it.
Now to think about my column

But if you had bought the ream you could do your own mods for many years to come. Just my opinion.

Your right but I'm not that deep into the sport yet. As much as I run, I might build a car every three years. I mostly just help a couple friends that have been doing it for generations.

So I found a Astro column and a metric steering box. It'll be a couple weekends before I can actually dig into the details of what it takes to get it done. never done this but why not? The parts are free?
