Will a GM power steering pump mount onto a 318? it could probably be made to fit but it would be easier to use the 318 ps pump and get a high pressure line made or use adapter fittings to make the 318 ps line screw into a gm box...or if your just wantin to know if a gm pump will work on a 318 for whatever reason anything can be made to work with enough fabrication..just have to make a bracket and make sure it lines up enough to keep a belt on it...hope this helps

80,s model mopars have saginaw steering pumps like gms just use the adapter fitting from a gm pump and gm lines with the mopar pump and brackets not hard to do at all

Will a GM power steering pump mount onto a 318? I dis the opposite of what you are asking a few years ago, a mopar pump on a 350. It worked just fine just make sure the brackets you use are strong enough not to flex under engine load and toss the belt.

Are there any gm or bop vehicles that have longer spindle's (including vans and trucks) i'm looking to gain height in the front end and i need it to look stock. Its for a stock derby. I plan on kicking the springs also to help.

Can anybody tell me more about the astro steering setup? I dont know if I got the wrong one or Im missing something. I got the shaft and ujoints off of a 1990 and the size and slines dont match anything on the car, a 76 chevy.
