Not unless a metal core support from another ford looks "stock" and can fit it in place.

2011 focus has a metal core support, no sure when starting using the metal instead of the junk plastic ones.

I was at the scrap yard and the cars with the plastic supports, they were just all blown apart the core supports

Yeah. Junkyards are helpful to see how future compacts will hold up and weak spots.

rip the whole thing off and weld the bumper right to the rails....vona did this on a Taurus with good results.if vona says it,do it.

A buddy of mine ran a 4 door hatch and my brother ran a 2 door hatch the 2 door definitely seems to be the stronger car he beat with the rear all night and it never bent the front took a few nice hits and didnt really do any damage frame wise and the core support stayed straight something I did on his was cut the plastic core support off even with the bumper where it attached to the lower part of the front fender. The 4 door car on the other hand took a hard front end hit off the gate and blew the lower control arm and axle straight out of the car.

so with the core support removed it still worked ok. ill have to try that cause the core is so chincy. how did you keep the rad in?

Maybe make a simple bracket off the frame rails or off the hood to hold radiator in place? Tough call with those plastic fronts.

Cut the top ears off the radiator that always brake off and cause the radiator to leak. Ratchet strap the radiator in.

This a stupid question and I think I already know the answer but I would rather be safe than sorry. on a 2000 ztec dohc i4 there is a fuel line going in the back of throttle body and a line coming out of the end of the fuel rail, is the line going to throttle body a supply and the line out the end of the rail is the vapor line going to the canister to the rear of the car? I am going to reroute the fuel line inside the car so it's safer for the second run.

so with the core support removed it still worked ok. ill have to try that cause the core is so chincy. how did you keep the rad in? a piece of bed frame should work well.....read the foxbody mustang thread.it has the clearest pics of shortening the front frame.same concept,just don't slide the core support back on.weld a piece of metal on the end,and weld the bumper to that.
