I have a stripped 2001 mazda protege that I've stripped and moved the battery and fuel tank in and I've built a cage in it already. Has anybody ran one of these before? Is there anywhere I should avoid hitting? Rules are macoupin county fair (Illinois) using this rule set what can I do to beef it up? The officials really don't check that hard so cutting corners is preety easy I have a 1998 Mazda protégé that I plan on running I've seen them run and I've heard nothing but good things about them

I was just under my '02 driver today. Take a good look at the frame rails right by the engine pulleys. Very narrow right there on both sides. Looks like when ours becomes a derby car, I will count on it being dead in one run. Nice foreshadowing lol
