that ign cylinder,,, either ductape it in the start position or remove it,, so the column stays unlocked,, the bolts holding up the column,,, but big washers on them,, and cut off the excess studs,, don't want your knees hitting them,, weld it on if you can,, tape the throttle cable on the pedel lever,, ya never know,, cut out enough metal for the shifter,, for when the car bends,, and duct tape that master cyl, tank on,,

Actual car in the picture isn't mine, just used it as a reference of what I'm shooting for. All the tips given will be used. I'm a ford and EFI virgin so we'll see! Fig 8 July 8 and demo July 9. I'll get some before and after pics posted when cars done. Thanks

Also, I'm wanting to use stock fuel pump how are you guys wiring these up? I'm seeing 4 wires, pink and black Thicker gauge, and a yellow and black smaller gauge. I'm assuming just hot and ground to pink and black thicker gauge with a switch. Are there any regulators or anything in original harness?

If so hot wire to pink an ground to black. If your not hot wiring the pump make sure you bypass the shutoff switch in trunk

For a stock pump wire the ground back to the battery-I never trust body grounds. I'd rather use an inside tank but you can use the stock one-I've ran a few with one. From the factory they came with a nice rubber cover for the distributor I always use. Wrap the steering column an anything sharp around it with foam-you never know how far your leg can go on a hard hit Once you get used to it EFI is better than carb in my opinion.

Also, headers or no headers? I have not run a car without them, but I don't have any Ford headers.... before I make or buy some, what is everyone's opinion?

Never ran one with headers, but they don't stall so you really don't have to hear it running. I wrap the starter with some heat shield just in case though.
