Yes I read through it, not all 47 pages though. I found a guy who makes a stand alone harness out of the factory harness so no worries! Ill be up and going in a week or so. Thanks anyway.

I have few questions for all you Ford guy’s running these stock 4.6’s biggest problems you had and what you did to eliminate them first time running / setting up one of these newer motors With the newer throttle body set up. I’m setting up my buddy a 2005 F-150 4.6 Triton 3V that the stock motor is Blown Up But I have a complete 2008 4.6L m/t and all the wiring fuse box that i pulled outta a p71 Vic strong running m/t just gonna throw some 4 into ones dec headers on it and let him run it.

Is it worth relocating the temp sensor on my 06 p71? Just wonder if it will go into limp mode if I don't move it

Running bone stock 1 and done heats. Usually over in about 10 min. I currently loop my hoses till the lower neck breaks and then I run it dry. Thinking of setting up a block off plate and capping water system and oil filter system. My question is do the oil lines need to be looped or can they just be plugged?

I've always looped them when removing the oil cooler. You could always switch the housing to a non P71 without the cooler lines.

There is an oil filter relocate kit you could probably have someone copy and machine. These at least don't break the neck housing as they aren't cast ibb.co/zbk6sZX

This is essentially what I was looking at but instead of looping the hose I'd just cap where the neck screws in and do the same with the oil lines. I just wasn't sure if the oil needs to be able to flow through them or if they can actually be plugged off without issue.

Its a throw away motor after a run or two so I don't see what it could really hurt. Beats the filter breaking off

What do I have to do once my stock 4.6 gets hot it doesn't really want to turn over (no start) I have both temp sensors by passed. This has happened every time I have built 1. What am I missing? Thanks guys!!!
