How do you guys move the wiring harness in front of the core support? Does it unplug somewhere? Mine is a 96 mercury. Anything on the inner plastic fender wells I need to move somewhere safe? Anything I need to bypass? Taking any and all tips, this will be my first stock ford I’ve run don’t know anything about 4.6’s

The entire harness has three plugs on the driver's side firewall, unplug them, pull it around and over the firewall and plug them back in.You have to lengthen a couple body grounds.Thats it,its that simple. Move the coil packs and fuse boxes and zip tie them to the engine. A picture of one of my cars is on page 2.

Is there a way to move or possibly bypass em?

You don't really need the ones after the cats. I cut the pipes just below the flange at the manifold, and weld in a pipe and just put a couple holes in the locations of the o2 sensors and just tack weld them into the pipes. They do make headers for these but I've never ran them. I think there are companies that make o2 simulators that you could probably find online somewhere.

I still cannot get header bolts in. Can't get any started. Do you have to take the motor mounts loose. Not enough room for my hands and still be able to see.

Does anyone by chance have a vacuum diagram?
Have a 93 that i stripped over a year ago and got rid of the a/c/heater core stuff.
Apparantly got rid of a hose that hooks to the pass side evap stuff, and a hose that connects to what looks like a small canister off the back of the block on the drivers side.
Or any tricks to do to all of the vacuum lines would help a ton, as that's what i struggle most with.

Leaning towards blown head gasket. Oil is dark and still not runny on stick, changing oil in a few hours and will see if water is in oil. If it turns out to be a bad head gasket, anyone have experience using sealer?
Also, have 1 bad fuel injector back drivers side trying to find a good one, would this make it die on idle and fall on its face in gear? Sounds good/has power while in park with throttle.

Oil was good, back to square one. Going to check the idle air controller and fuel pressure regulator today.

Oil was good, back to square one. Going to check the idle air controller and fuel pressure regulator today. Cleaned the IAC really good and the car idles good now, and runs decent in park. Once we put it in gear it still just falls on it's face. Need some ideas please.

The trans fluid level was fine.
Turned out to be a bad fuel regulator.
Also switched out the crank and cam sensors, cut clogged cats and unhooked the regulator a few days ago without all that so it was probably a bit of everything.
