Today I did a fuel pressure test. I am getting 30 psi idle when it hit the gas it goes up then goes right back to 30 psi? Is that the correct reading or do I have a weak fuel pump thanks! thats perfect,,, so,, its not a fuel problem,, wonder if your system thinks the motor is overheating,,,when its not,,, and sending limp mode,, you could try draining the rad and filling it up with ice cold water and then start it to see what happens with the temp gauge going right to hot. and see if you have normal operating power until that temp gauge goes to hot. if it works id be leaning towards finding that temp sensor and removing it from factory location, zip tying it away from the engine, or getting a resistor in its place that shows what normal operating temp would be and manipulating it. btw i havnt done any of these previous, it just sounds all good in my head, take or leave it.

Has anybody ran one of these without an oil filter and made a homemade lower water inlet?

Any of you guys run these 92-97 fords in street stock classes? Was wondering if you guys kept the cats on for the o2 sensors, or do you relocate the o2 sensors???

Would the o2 sensor be on the cat or just before the 1st cat?

They should be in the top of the cat,I always bend pipe and weld it into the pipe just below the flange at the manifold then I weld the o2 into the pipe. What are you going to do to the temp sensor? I've run lots of these engines and I've never touched one.

i have a question for you 4.6 guys , do any of you know the color of the wire that controls the crank sensor (this would be the one inside the front bumper that comes from the ignition). I cant get my 92-97 lincoln to fire and i believe that this particular wire is either missing the ground or the hot. I could try all of them but as im sure you already know , thats a lot of wires. Im just trying to save some time.

Trying to put a set of the 4.6 DEC headers on a 97 Lincoln. What kind of bolts do I need to get because there is no way these studs and nuts will work.
