It acts up under a load idles beautiful revs decent in park drive it kinda hesitated under hard acceleration, runs a little better now I’ve deleted the egr and capped the evap on the intake still has hesitation though also replaced the fuel filter

Have you checked fuel pressure? What type of tank setup are you using?

I had one that the pump was going bad that acted the same way. Sometimes the pump will work but not supply enough pressure. They will run with 20 psi at idle but not a higher rpm. Has it run long enough for the check engine light to come on?

Check engine is on came on for 02 sensors and egr no misfire or anything of that sort I deleted the egr and 02 sensors are unplugged it runs a lot better since I deleted the egr and capped the evap on the intake but still has that hesitation to it I’ll do a fuel pressure test what fuel pressure should I be looking for 30-40 psi? Thanks!

Yup 30-40 psi is good.I always have pipes off the manifolds and the o2 sensors hooked up,I think they run better with them. What did you do for an air intake?

It still has the stock intake I haven’t touched anything I haven’t stripped it yet, the o2s are still on the very end of the pipe where I cut the cats off I can hook them back up I just in plugged them I also checked the mass airflow it’s nice and clean, the car had sat for about 6 months before I bought it but the old lady seldom drove it never had a issue till it sat for a little bit thanks for all the help i appreciate it!

I had the cats cut off, o2 sensors un plugged, air box eliminated. and rad lines looped. the hose on my fuel pump had come loose and the car was only siphoning fuel from the tank, changed my fuel pump put new lines on and no issues since.

Today I did a fuel pressure test. I am getting 30 psi idle when it hit the gas it goes up then goes right back to 30 psi? Is that the correct reading or do I have a weak fuel pump thanks!
