This is for a powderpuff wire class. How are you guys doing the fuel pumps, stock pump or will an inline fuel pump work? Can the dash be taken out without disturbing vital wires and What about the mass air sensor in the air filter intake ? Thanks in advance for any help.

lots of wires to move,,,,, pull the fuel pump relay,,,, wire the pump direct to the battery through a switch,,, leave the dash in,,, it holds the steering column in,, install a starter button,, stick the air temp sensor in the plastic intake tube after the MAF..

In the pic of the 4.6 above the coils are moved, where did you move them to? Any pictures of how and where you re mounted them

we just wire it direct to the battery and put the whole fuel tank with pump in the back seat. it sits upright in the back seat great if you use ratchet straps to hold it in. Ran 15 cars this way and never had a problem.

What did you all change on it? What did you secure the coils to on the back if the engine?

Mine looks like Jugulators but my coils set on top the valve cover in angle iron brackets. If your usin the stock tank hot wire to the pink and black fuel pump wire.It looks scary but it isn't that hard to move the wiring, it all unplugs at the drivers side firewall

I believe you need a return line for the fuel injection that's why they use the stock tank everything is already there.

Questions for jugulator. How do you do the brakes to get rid of the anti lock stuff on frame??? And, we have the maf hooked directly to the throttle body without air temp sensor. It seems to run fine.Sensor sits just in front of maf.Does it need to be between maf and throttle body Thankx AJ

It does have a return line, also plumbed into the boat tank. Is it better to run the coils off a toggle to the battery?

To get rid of the antilock just run a line from the rear master cyl port to the rear and use a T splitter to each rear hose, run a line from the front port on the master to a splitter to each front hose. The air temp sensor should be between the maf and the engine. Don't bother with rewiring the coils just run a wire to the fuel pump and starter. I don't cut any wires at all , just put thm behind the engine

Do the coils need to be grounded ? And do you move ghe starter solenoid off the inner fender? As for abs if you don't want it to activate it or anything just clip one of the wires going to a wheel sensor and then none of it will work

I would sure like to see a full writeup on this... Wasn't there a step by step on here many yrs ago?
Not only looking to run a demo car with efi, but thinking about converting a carb'd 289 driver to efi. Any info/hints/tips for either would be great.

Does the 302 and 4.6 have the same bolt pattern where the tranny bolts up ?
