I've been thinking of getting my four into ones cut down from 28 inches to the top of collected to 21 inches to the top of the collecter. Might be stepping up to larger diameter tubing from 1.5 stepped up after the port bends to 1.75 to the collectors. No particular reason but curious to know what you guys have for short headers and and pictures would be appreciated. Nothing spectacular they would be going on, just a tbi blocked 305.

I scored a clean 1975 Buick Regal with a Buick 350. I'm fairly new to GM's and it doesn't look like sbc headers will fit. Am I wrong?? Where can I get a set?? Thanks for any info

Chevy 350 headers will not fit, you can get a set of flanges from DEC $15 each (turns out they don't sell flanges in pairs like you would expect), then build a set yourself.

Thanks for any info I would just run manifolds and short pipes on a buick/olds , they are a nightmare to build headers for! I did it once and will never do it again! the only reason i finished the job was because i had already bought all the steel and tubing. for starters you need a 135 degree bend at the bottom along with very tight clearances to steering, brakes and valve covers. i lost about 7-8 feet of pipe just trying to make the upward curve off of the header plates.......... you could just call up dec and have them send you a set of forward dump 4 into 1's to your door for under 200 bucks...

If you're headers aren't cherry red by the end of the night then you didn't try/hit hard enough,

Idea. put a cone the size of the horn on a tuba on the collector. Do you think it would make in noisier or atleast more anoying

also i saw engine masters smash some dents into a set of long tubes and it actually made more hp for a short while but it never decreased from the non dented headers
