It can be done on a stock car. My vic is a stock build. I don't like using the key because they can be lost or broken off.are you wiring your push button straight to the starter solidnoid then to the battery? More than likely this will be my setup. I have an electrical guy helping me i think when i get the car fully stripped for the button. To see if he even wants to try it. Plan on having independent switches for everything. Fuel pump(easy) ignition iguess that's it

I have a 91 box vic. Has anyone used the stock shifter cable to make a cable shifter? Or would I be better of to just make a trans mounted shifter?

The ends on the stock car don't hold up if you start slamming it. I built a trans mount.

Do they make the FMX trans for a sbf? I came across one today for 150. But I've never seen the FMX for a small block. I know that they are sought after but I just wanna make sure they do make them with the small block bolt pattern and if the price is decent.

Possible to use the key ignition but with a push pull type shifter?

I have a C6 and an FMX for a SBF. I know they are both very similar in durability but out of the two which one would you prefer to fun or what would be stronger. Its going to be behind a built 351w.

Pulling the c4 off my 351w and putting a c6 on. Test fit it and everything seems to line up but wondering if the flywheel has to be changed?

If it's here I missed it. What's the reasoning for the tv lever being 3/4 open? I did it, but I don't know the reasoning.

Pretty sure it's the same wreckage. I put a 302 from an 83(?) Vic in my 93 bubble Vic last year. Had to shorten the driveshaft a couple inches
