Brian Nerat builds heavy duty bell housings for GM's but not fords. My transmission shop will cut my c6 housing off for super cheap but doesn't have the stuff to make bell housing. I can make my own but would prefer to buy one made on CNC machine. Anybody know who makes them for a ford?

That bell is for a C-4. It does not say it will fit a C-6. (C-6 is a 1 piece housing)

Its going to be very expensive to get where your wanting to go with a steel bellhousing on a C-6 transmission. The way Id look into doing it if i were to try it , is to buy a steel blow proof bellhousing for a straight gear and then have someone machine and cut the center of the bellhousing to fit the pump bolts on the C-6 ... Cut the housing off the C-6 , use the pump bolts to bolt the steel bellhousing on.. Iam sure there will be a good bit of measuring to get the flexplate spaced correct ... You may even have to buy a smaller 8 inch converter to fit inside tha steel bell.. It may be a lot easier just to go with a straight gear.. Iam assuming you have had or anticipating having problems with the bellhousing breaking on the C-6 .. With all the after market parts for the C-4 these days , you can make a C-4 hold any amount of horsepower you can throw at it.. It will most likely be a lot cheaper to use a C-4 to get where you want to be as far as strength goes..

Has anyone checked with any of the manufactures on here about making these ford products. I know that i would be interested in purchasing some parts. Weather they wold be for a C-6 or a FMX, I run both.
