Stop pulling those spark plug wires off especially off the coil unless you have a tester designed to test the spark. You're going to get spark because you have no resistance for the spark. With a tester it'll mimic the spark plug being in the cylinder with compression.

And yes on ground from engine to body as well as engine to motor.

Does the distributer spin when the engine is turned over?

Well then it sounds like plug wires- if you have spark from the coil and the cap and rotor are good, where else can the spark go?

I have orange spark from the coil and no spark going out of the distributor. Shouldn't I have blue or white? But the coil is brand new so why would it have a weak orange spark? So damn confused.

Does it spit, sputter, pop at all, or not firing what so ever? Have you tested to see what the psi is at the fuel rail or just know you have pressure?

Not firing whatever and I have not tested exact psi.

Yes I got the right one. And here was mu thought process. No spark after I checked plug to coil and it wad good. So Ihad power to coil but none after. So I buy a new coil and now I have orange spark going tdissy but none coming out. Next logical thing is rotor and cap which looked good but I bought new ones anyways. Still orange spark going in and no spark going out. My question is what is cause the weak orange spark because that could be my problem. And it's still making me wonder. why my ignition goes out and then my car goes out. has to play a role in this

Are you sure you got the right cap and rotor? Might be the wrong rotor or something so it's not making contact. Try putting the old stuff back on and see if that does anything. Does the distributer spin when the engine is turned over? boom61 does that remind you of anything?... lol Not funny. I still have nightmares about that and wake up in a cold sweat. lol

The only thing I can think of that would make an orange spark from the coil would be a weak coil or possibly not 12 volts going to it. Back at the start of all this didn't you relocate wires on a solenoid? Maybe something isn't right? I think I have a 90 or 91 vic out back- I can check wire color and position for you.
