A FWD is not winning compacts this year. Why do you say that? Just too many rwds to take out the way rules are. Not saying they should change but I'd be hard pressed to bring a lumina here.

It's not the rules that makes a rwd more competitive at this show... it's the platform, its hard to beat the durability of a 2.3 with a good trans and rear behind it

I said as soon as it went to a big money class rwd cars would dominate. IMO a 2.3 will outrun anything you put against it (especially a 3100). I guess guys have caught on that 1/4 of the cars in the heats were rwd, but over half in the feature were and probably 7-8 of the top ten.... Exactly. Just not enough car to compete with a pacer/celica/fox

I guess guys have caught on that 1/4 of the cars in the heats were rwd, but over half in the feature were and probably 7-8 of the top ten.... If those #s are true (which im sure they are) then that's just flat out domination. For the RWD to be out numbered 3 to 1 in the heats and then for them to basically make up 70%-80% of the top 10 in the feature is saying something. One thing we can all agree about is that #s don't lie lol. I don't know how many cars were in each heat but if you compare it to a normal derby with 15-20 car heats then that's 5-6 FWDs dropping to every 1 RWD.
