Iv'e always told my buddies that if i was to ever get into compacts it would def be a RWD. Was thinking about a Vega or a Monza powered with a V-6. As much as everyone likes the Fox bodies i just couldn't go to sleep at night knowing i put time, money, and hard work into a ford product. Im strictly a bow-tie guy and i think either one of those cars would be very comparable to a Fox body. I could be wrong but this is jmo of course.

Those aren't exact numbers, but they're pretty close. If my memory serves correct, since they increased the payout for compacts the highest place a fwd car has gotten was 3rd and that wasn't a W body, it was a honda. The fwd cars end up dragging their rear wheels around. You get too hot trying to do that for 45-50mins. IMO that's one of their biggest downfalls. Best finish 3rd...are you talking about there at bash specifically? |

Best finish 3rd...are you talking about there at bash specifically? yes Thot so...but iv'e never been to bash and i don't really pay attention to the payouts...esp in the compacts since i don't run them |

The RWDs were definitely not out numbered 3 to 1 I dont even think it was 2 to 1 but anyway I do agree that a FWD will not be bringing home the money. Other than that slow first heat they were the show last night tho.

Ya it was a really good heat. We haven’t been to bash in a couple of years but we will be there next year, maybe with some pre ran caddies with some kickers lol we’ll see, great show as always, good job to smash it! 👍🏼👍🏼
