No problem! It was a good time. Even if I don't bring any junk down I'll be there if you need a hand with anything next year. If the stars align maybe I'll bring something down your way to run. I'd be rough taking a car across the mountains w/ my little baby truck though. lol

I don't understand the "not hitting them". Are they scared of them or buddys or wtf? Growing up in derbies in Ohio I found there were a lot of "buddies". Being pretty much a loaner when I go, I never had the buddy system. However, Jojo, Stromi, Team FTS if you all want to tangle with the Brauns, I am IN. I have a grudge against them from about 3 years ago that still tastes bad. I had a grudge against Ziz several years ago and settled it at a county fair! Got him cornered and was able to lay over a control arm. Junked my stuff doing it, but I said to myself he isn't going to win this one! As far as inspection issues, this isn't only a smashit issue. If you look hard enough, you will find something at every show no matter what. I have always been told it is competing not cheating. sounds good bud! We’ll get it all figured out as the time gets closer, I’m hoping these caddies we are building go faster than what we are predicting, if we were to bring the caddies that are being ran at spring x we would have to run the kicker class

Don't assume that yet. The rules and inspectors change every year. The new rules usually come out in November

"I have said this for years: FRIENDS CAN NOT INSPECT FRIENDS CARS !!!!" Depends who it is. I don't think Bill would bat an eye about loading a friend if he needed to. In most cases this is true though. 100% agree. I have seen it first hand. Bill has a great inspection crew. They might miss something once in a while, but they're honest about it. I sure hope you both are right come June 9th.I never had a issue with Bill/crew and hope we do not. Honestly Bill/Kyle do owe me a few hard shot from the past.lol

The wire cars need little John bars. I saw two close calls with rolled over cars. Personally, I will not run a fullsize car without one. seen I think 604 a 98^ lincoln have one. Looked like others had to cut theirs off. Wasn't there just watched on tv so idk.

This thread has slowed down. Hopefully all the pissing and moaning about the show is over. Personally I think it's an awesome show or I wouldn't drive eleven hours to get there year after year. I do agree that there needs to be some changes. But I feel totally confident that Tim and Russ will do whatever they need to to help make this the best show in the country. Im glad everyone has pointed out the flaws. That is the whole purpose of this site. To voice problems and opinions. I feel confident that they will fix the problems.

I feel confident if everyone voices there opinion and then shows up to run this show will be successful...if not then 30 becomes 15 and then everyone is building a sweet second place car. Just saying

I'll voice my opinion here on one little thing and it's about youth class I know it's not a huge class like compact, TBTC, or Kicker but hopefully the rules can have less grey areas next year and hopefully be enforced for that class. I promised a young girl that I'm going to build her a good wbody next year and I'm not hauling it all the way from Canada to show up and give her an underbuilt car again. The person who built her can this year followed the rules and she ended up underbuilt. Lots of things that the rules said weren't allowed were done right out in the open. So I'm just asking for a level playing field for the kids. I think that's important. Other than that I had a great time going to bash for cash for the first time. Way better than watching on the live stream the last few years.

I can agree with that. Youth class needs to be stock other than safety items. That way any kid can have a good time, and have just as good of shot as the next no matter how good of builder or how big the pockets are of there dad/cousin/uncle/neighbor ect. As far as that goes, I'd like to see the wheelbase drop to 106". Not that I'm all for participation trophies but for that class the playing field should be pretty level.

The show as a whole was awesome!!, as far as the fwd vs rwd debate goes its like this, ohio is home to some of the best rwd builders and drivers out there, hell my hometown fair compact heat roster looks pretty similar to the bash feature roster, rwd guys know what w-bodys are capable of so we pick them off and leave each other alone. I ran bash in 2016 with a mustang and i didnt rub paint with another rwd car untill just a few minutes befor i went out...and i was like 12 or so in the feature. If fwd guys wanna have a chance there gonna have to re think some things.
