You have to think about how the beads look when they bend. It’s a small spot on the bead which is what they stop. The amount of weld on the inner side is plenty to keep them from rolling, they are only 1/4 as well. Now my set of nissans that have 1/2in bead stiffeners and are plug welded are totally different.

2 inch increments, never had a problem with them Just my opinion you’re already there. I would do the whole thing. Would hate to see something stupid happen and have it bend between the welds. Thats exactly my thought too. It's another 5 minutes of welding. Nobody ever said "boy I wish I would have welded that less."

A couple years ago a few hours of welding resulted in a day or two of cutting... definitely wished I didn't do that afterwards... lol Lol. Guess I should have stated "within the rules".

Best way to cut out old centers without a torch or plasma? Get the stick welder out and turn the amps up.

What's everyone's technique on weld in centers. How do you keep them centered in wheel? Is there a easy way or just burn an measure?

Depending on who u go with they will be fairly tight in there. Just tack in 4 spots then burn it in

On rims with a bolt pattern that is the same as one pattern on the multi pattern centers I am welding in, I bolt the center to the rear of the wheel with 9/16 bolts, and then spin it on a wheel balancer to check for straightness, and then weld. I have gotten all of mine perfect this way.
