What are some good AG tires to fit on a 14 inch tall by 7 inch wide rim?
And what would be the best setup for that? Like stuffing, tubes, etc.

Ok thanks. I was curious if they needed to be 8.5” wide rims to fit that tire

Not all 23x8.50-14s are created equal. It depends on the manufacturer. They are all slightly different heights and widths. On a side note, I'm curious if I just had bad luck this year, or if carlisle skids kind of suck? In 3-4 runs this year I lost 3 of them. One of them had a gaping hole punched in the tread in a 2 minute run, and the other two the sidewalls were cut to hell. They seemed real soft... idk Good point on dimensions. I actually prefer the Carlyle tires. You running flappers ?

I've actually stitched them with mechanics wire to get another run out of them so I didn't have to do another set lol. Lasted another few runs surprisingly.

So i've been thinking about something, and was wanting to hear some other opinions. When losing tires while running full bead locks, i noticed the chances of getting around on are about 50/50 depending on track condition..you either dig a hole or limp around. I was wondering if cutting grooves out of the plate(think a rounded cog) would help you get around any better, or if it would just dig a hole since its so thin? something like this.

Ever see that episode of mythbusters where they try to build metal wheels for a mine sweeper? They dig holes
