I have searched on this thread and I'm getting different answers here. New to the scene, ran a couple in a late 80s vic. We run pretty much limited weld class and I'm trying to see opinions on something like 5.50-15 BTK compared to something bigger like say a 23x8.50-15. I know the size difference obviously but am confused on what wheels to mount up to. Thinking of the BTKs but I run stock ford steel wheels. Any help is appreciated!

Wheel night # who knows, so time consuming but I love putting these together. To replicate, the unboltable wheel kits (centers of choice bolt in, no centers pictured) are from Circle Z DERBY PARTS. Skid pattern 21” solids come from WRP Derby Parts and the traditional style 22” solids come from NLR derby parts. Get ahold of them to order!

I am running 27x8.50-15 skid steer tires. What is everyone opinion for best tire to stuff in them? First time running these and I do plan on tubing them as well.

I can't seem to find a 8" steel wheel other then a wheel Barrow wheel I had 3/8s full centers made. To run my 23 8.50 12s. The reason I ran the Toyota 8 inch is bc its tougher then most rearends i was told had no problems out of it.. they come in 5 and 6 lug and it came out with 4.88 gears factory. But you could redrill axle to a pattern you got.
