Just curious what went wrong. Stock midsize car i doubled a set of tires. Outer tire 225 60 16 inside is 205 60 16 and tubed outer is solid the sidwall is like a small air gap between the tires. Maybe different brand tires is the issue?? Just curious if others have had this issue. Just posted a pic in the gm section. Fronts almost look flat. It happens. Never had any issues from it.

If I'm not mistaken you only want to go one size down when doubling which would have been a 215 60 16. If I have the right size I try and find the baldest ones, if I have a smaller size I would go with more tread to try and take up the gap. Usually its just whatever is laying around and I don't have much choice though. lol

What size stuffers do I need for super sidewalls? I read the pages but may have missed it. I don’t really think you would gain anything by stuffing 14pr tires imo plus you gotta think about valve clearance too super sides have that really thick bead already. I usually just tube and go with proper air pressure you should be fine. They do make liners that are made for the super sides that contain the tube inside of the bead i think they help a lot with pinching

I just fit some 175/70/R14 into my 195/70R14’s. Would I still be able to use an inner tube and get the outside tire to seat properly and get a seal ? Could I drill a second hole in the rim for the inner tube stem and still fill both the outer tire and the innner tube with air? Any suggestions ?

All you need is one tube inside the stuffer tire, and everything should mount up and seat properly without drilling anything or changing anything.

So I have a couple sets of 205/70/15’s sitting here, was wondering what they fit in. Also have a couple sets of 195/65/14’s and was wondering what those fit in. Any change the 15’s will work in a super sidewall? And then what size of stuffers are people putting in 14 inch galaxies that are 25’s? And same with the Carlisle’s? Very possible I missed the answers to my questions, any help would be appreciated

Your 205s are way too big to stuff in a super sidewall. Only thing I've heard people stuffing in them is a donut. A 205-70 should fit in like a 225/75 15.
I just helped a buddy stuff 25x8.50 Carlisles with 175-65-14s. They had a small bulge, but it went away when we aired them up.
