Baby powder or talc is what I've always used. Especially if your doubling and tubing.

Powdered graphite works good too.

Tried 2 different sizes for the 7-14 tractor tires I got. First was 1757014 big bulge in the middle then 1756514 same bulge. It's like to much tire. What other smaller sizes could I try? I'm about to give up and just tube and go

What is weird is this is the same size I have always ran. I used to run cropmasters and doubled them with 1757014 no problem. Well they stop making them and I got the new style and they just don't seem like they wanna take the tire right. If it was a sidewall bulge I would tube and go but it's right in the middle all across.

I can show you two 7.00-15s I have. One is 27" tall, the other is 31" tall. You'd be surprised by the size difference in two different brands of tires.

The one I had well tried to used was a recap that's why I had trouble. Took another one I had and it went it no problem. Thanks for help

Just curious what went wrong. Stock midsize car i doubled a set of tires. Outer tire 225 60 16 inside is 205 60 16 and tubed outer is solid the sidwall is like a small air gap between the tires. Maybe different brand tires is the issue?? Just curious if others have had this issue.

Not uncommon. No reason for concern.

It happens, brother has a set of doubled tires that always look like they are low on air because the inside tire was a little too small. Should still serve its purpose.
