Any pics of tilting an 89 ltd crown vic? And how far would you drop the front if ur doing it at the crush box's? If u read through this thread u wrote on they say how far. An pics u can look through the threads an see which are tilted an that but that's not goin to show u how yours will bend because people get little creative with their welders in different ways an spots as they learn where the cars bend.

Not just with the welder but body mounts. There are lots of things that control how a car bends. Bumpers even effect how cars bend.

youtu.be/x8DjXdb7PSYWatch this video. Set your rear where you want it, Max front suspension out, tilt to level is how I do it. The lower you set the rear the more tilt ya need. Oh and I'm pretty sure the YouTube link is already in the thread. Just have to read..

Can you cold bend with all the body bolts in? Never done it with them in... afraid they might rip out. Chain rules I have say body bolts must stay in place but can cold bend, and where would the best place to bend it with them still in?

What year and model? just loosen the firewall mounts...tilt, then get some new bolts rust them up and call it a day. you could always stack two factory mounts on top of one another at the firewall to take up the gap since sucking it tight in a stock class will most likely result in a busted bell.

But where to tilt if the bolts are loosened or still tight? That's the question?

Just did my 87 wagon this weekend. Removed the 4 bolts at the firewall tilted right at the stock crossmember. Have about a 1 1/2" gap on top of the existing rubber mounts. Some longer bolts and tighten em up
