BODY MOUNTS- first locate the spot (i allways just figure the bolt wont come out in the 79+ fords and this is how i do it)- - cut the tin off the body that holds the "nut" - cut the "nut" as close to the bolt as possable - use a punch to knock the bolt to the ground - pull the nut out and pour water on the hot spot to keep fires at a minimum body mounts.... get it to this point with the nut and washer already like this.. then set a 3x3 or bigger plate over that and nut and washer it again.

Some pictures/how to of tilting the frame with the body off would be very helpful. I think many people understand the concept of cutting the frame and bending it to become more straight, but an understanding of the big picture and what it is supposed to look like would be very nice. thanks

6. New style Ford crush boxes. This is the passenger side thus the rust where the AC condenser was at otherwise the frame was immaculate. Take a bottle jack or some type of jack and put it up under the crush box. Jack it until you have the desired height. I used a cut off saw to cut the tabs off. It doesn't need to be pretty. On the front side of the box engine side. That tab was cut also. I just used a hammer and chisel to separate it from the front frame rails. I basically cut everything except for the bottom of crush box. Some rules state you can only cut the front tab. The you would approach it more of a cold bending style with the tilt. Take something heavy so that the front of the frame won't go in the air. I prefer tractor and loader. Then take a jack and jack up the box under where the tab was cut. Once you have you have your desired height reweld everything. It's more of a personal preference on how far you tilt.

Thought I would add one. Bolting or welding the A-frame of 80's and newer gm's. Take out the rubber piece under the a-frame circled in yellow. Jack up the frame so that the a-frame touches the frame weld solid to the frame. May need filler material to get a good weld across the side in red. If bolting blow a hole through where the rubber piece was at and weld a bolt on the side of the frame and run the bolt through the a-frame tighten it down solid. What is circled in black is the a-frame some people don't know what the a-frames are.

How about some basic wiring diagrams for beginners Its probably what I get asked the most from newcomers. I remember there was some on the old forum and the Schutte site had some when it was around, but I havent seen any on here. If someone has some saved on their computers somewhere, or a decent paintshop program to make some up it would be a nice edition. Then I can just say hey look it up and stop bothering me kid ;D
