We were able to get fuel to the fuel rail but Im guessing it wasn't enough pressure. The fuel was coming out but it wasn't shooting out like it should be (maybe a 2 inch stream from the end of the pipe). Could the hose being at the top cause the lack of fuel pressure?

My buddy had a good fuel tank. But the fuel filter came apart. If I was to ever run fuel injected again I would have a inline pump under the hood somewhere safe. I dont want 50 plus psi of fuel running beside me in the car

This is our first time building a fuel cell for our compacts. Hopefully she does her job and holds up well. We'll see this Saturday.

Has anyone turned an old propane tank into a fuel cell? I'm thinking of just finding a plug for where the original valve is. That would also be the fill spot. Then just drill a hole on the very bottom and weld a 90° 3/8ths barbed fitting. This would be for carbed engines

^^^Have one for carb or inline pump. Have one with efi pump welded in. Just clean it out with water before putting fire to it.

Ok just making sure I wasn't the only one who had thought of it haha. Ya I'll definitely wash out with water real good before I do anything with it

Helpful hint, that my brother and I learned the hard way, when building a boat tank into a fuel cell we use this product called, "Seal ALL" in a yellow tube. Makes your life way easier if you're new to building a tank. Usually takes about 1-1.5 tubes on a standard size boat tank. Can be found at Autozone, Home Depot, etc.

Other than buying one, does anyone have any ideas for a rollover vent valve? I'm building two tank setups this week and don't have time to order anything and I'm not using a vented cap I'm using propane tanks.

I have been told that PCV valves could be used.It is a 1 way valve that should work in a pinch.
