Where would I get a pump for inside the tank? The original pump from the car is generally ok if it's good.

When going into a boat tank, I like to take a piece of the gas tank too, so the lock ring can be used and the pump can be replaced if it fails.

I have a couple that I just used the threaded end of a piece of pipe about 3 inches long, and bought a matching cap in the plumbing department. Have to tighten & loosen it with a large channel lock or pipe wrench so it doesn't leak. One is completely homemade. The other is an old 5 gallon air bubble. Have another one I just weld in the filler neck from a car & used its respective gas cap. This one is an old propane bottle.

I've been looking into a quick release cap from NLR and was wondering about tossing one of them on it as well, but they didn't sell the threaded piece
