If you don’t run the mid plate an nose the car. You will break the block an starter will be laying on the track. The mid plate will prevent that. Broke three before using the mid plate What if the nose does not bend all good ? lol Stock motor mounts any good/do they bend easy on impact ?

I like the Jeffys mounts. However they sit the motor higher than it needs to be in the Fords. I made my own to let it sit lower and not need to cut any firewall or trans tunnel for clearance. I would not run the ict aluminum adapters with the factory clamshells

Don’t run the eBay 30 dollar adapters either

If the starter is getting jammed against the crossmember yes it’s gonna break I get that. I run mostly fords with fab farm lower cradle and it clears it enough. Also I put the trans on a slide and don’t anchor it down and haven’t had an issue with breaking a starter off yet.

The cheap stock lowers work just fine as they allow things to move but you have to have a chain for backup because when the nose starts coming up they will tear

Hey sure you guys covered this in one of the last 119 pages but without surfing through the mall what should I do with spark plug wires, are they something that failed because of the other headers? Do I need to wrap them? What about coils is there any issues due to heat?

Do I need to wrap them? What about coils is there any issues due to heat? Search feature works really well, but to make it quick, headers have advanced from years and years ago, no real shielding is required. Keep them away the best you can, let air flow get to them, and you'll be alright.

I’m looking at running a schow cradle that I’m buying from a guy. Do I need to change the water pump/water pump pulley to make this set up work, it looks like they are spacers behind the water pump. Any help will be appreciated.
