No you need a adapter. but they are a great carb to use. They sell the adapter at most car parts stores. Got mine from orielys. Thanks man. You wouldn't happen to remember what it's called, or a part number? The reason I ask is the local O'Reilly's has a bunch of jackasses and I'll be there all day trying to find the correct one. Also, the engine already has an original Holley 2bbl on it, and was curious about the flange differences between that and the 4412.

What rad hoses are you guys using when looping the lines on a sbm? Having trouble finding ones that won’t kink

Having trouble finding ones that won’t kink Never done it but ones I've seen have used flex hose with a pipe to connect them in middle If using pipe I'd suggest welding a bead around each end and double hose clamping both ends so it can't slide apart

Where is the difference in a 318 and 360 magnum to give the 360 more power. It seems like if you watch the 360s run they have more power

I thought there used to be a magnum thread but I looked through them and came up empty handed

I couldn't find it in here but is there a visual difference between a stock 360 intake and 318 intake? I've been told that the bolt pattern on a 360 intake for the carb is bigger than a 318s so you cant swap carbs back and forth...is there any truth to that? Reason I'm asking is my cousin had a engine built and were thinking the intake is a 318 but not 100% sure how to tell the difference..any info is appreciated!

Anyone here ever build a SBM and leave out the oil rings? ive got a guy thats local to me, says he's built a number of small block mopars and left out the oil wiper rings. I think its a ridiculous idea, he says his motors only smoke a little at high rpm. i think he's full of Crap but you never know. What do you guys think BS or not?

I just ever heard of filing down the rings so it don't touch when it gets hot that was on all engines. They just take a few mills off.

Alright, so I’m having issues keeping coils in my car. I have a KMJ assault “hei” distributor that takes an external coil. Is there a way to rig up a GM hei coil so that it functions the same as an oil filled unit? I’m getting tired of buying Accel super coils (4th one in three years) at $75 each.
