crash4life replace ur ignition control module under ur coils n it’ll fire right up Are you using the factory wiring for your pump? Maybe issue there, try directly running the wires for the pump to the battery with a toggle switch on the hotwire this should cure that problem. The fuel pump is ran direct to battery with a toggle switch on the hot wire. I can't even get the car to fire using either or gas down the intake. It will backfire once and a while but that's about it. It has new plugs in it as of about an hour ago. Unless someone screwed with my car idk what it could be. It is almost acting like the plugs wires are all screwed up, but it was running a month ago. HELP I HAVE 3 DAYS TILL DEMO DAY!

I have a 99 cavalier. I striped the car out. The only wires I cut was the head light harness and the wire harness for the lights in the trunk. Now it won't run. It will try to start on starting fluid. Does any one know if u need any of thoes wires to run?

Check the fuel injection fuse on the side of the dash you may have blown it cutting wires and tried to start it I have had that happen many times on Cavaliers

Today is the first day I was able to work on it since my last post. But I checked that fuse an it is good. I put the wiring back in the rear of the car an got the fuel pump to work with the key. But it still don't fire. The anit theft light is on solid when u turn the key on. I tryed turning the key on for 10 min. Then turn the key off for 30 sec and then tryed to start it. It won't fire.

Anybody ever run a pointy on a cavalier? I have always ran flat bumpers do to the frame swaying so when I get hit in the bumper chances are better to slide instead of shove, but alot of pointys will be at a show I am running next and thought maybe about making one.

Okay. 99 Chevy Cavalier Z24 2 door 5 speed 2.4L. If I read it right move the computer to up on the dash, brace the strut towers to help keep the cv shafts from pulling out(is there a better way)?, prebend the rear(my idea was to set the trunk up like a bubble Ford, jack up and block the front struts and jack up the rear and run donuts, plan on using either a Nova or Monte bumper up front, creasing the body front to rear. Car will have 4 point floating cage with halo and gtp. Is any of my thinking flawed or did I miss anything? I'm a fullsize driver and this was my daily driver forever. After putting in a new engine, then transmission, then shift cable, and countless blowouts(car has been a freakin nightmare), I refuse to let anyone else have it. I want my revenge on it on the track. Only things that concern me are the limp mode, anti theft, and cv shafts coming out. I read on them. Just don't get it. Best ways to fix them. I don't want this car to shutdown on the track over something small. I want to make this car wish it had never seen me. Thank you. Talking about the limp mode just put a boly with some seal all on it in place of the temp reader it should be on the top line towards the pasaenger side and and then leave the temp reader plugged in just zip tie it out of the way fronts are for defense only run althread through frame and out the bottom of the rad holder thing and then up through the hood tei everything up front togeather the best you can to keep from swaying Got any pics of how you run the allthread or more details??

2004 cavi 2.2 eco tech Keep bending struts anyone got some tips to keep them straight ?? front or back? The back I make mine out of b7 all thread and square tube and the front I cut a piece of tube in half long ways and weld it around below the spring and I put square tube on the frame behind it so the strut has less area to bend
