Anyone ever ran cavalier against a lot of camry's?I like them both haven't gotten to run many camrys built lots of cavalier but its always been a mixed field of all different cars. What I'm wondering is has anyone seen them run with some well built camrys wondering how they would hold up I know the back of the Cavaliers will beat all night

I picked up a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero (not a cav I know) but it has the 2.4L and there’s not much in the N body thread and you guys that run cavs know these engines pretty good. I just spent the last couple days going thru this thread and didn’t find a answer to my ?
Will the 2.2 eco tec header fit on the 2.4L? I went on jeffy fab farm and he has a 2.2L gm header. A 2.2/2.4 eco header and a 2.4L gm header Curious if anyone has bought 1 and put it on the 2.4.

I haven't tried it yet, but I am told by a source I'd trust that the regular 2.2 header won't even fit the eco tech 2.2

No the regular 2.2 header will not fit the eco-junk 2.2, but the header for the reg 2.2 does fit 02 and older 2.2 so it does fit the older square body's just saying for a future reference of anybody cares I run 90% Cavaliers for compact shows i am getting tired of looking at them really lol

I think the heads are different so I doubt it will fit but I never messed with a 2.4 so I could be wrong

Any ever carbed a 2.2 and know what to hotwire also wondering if anyone makes a sit up any help would be appreciated Alright listen. I haven't seen it done. But if u can figure out how to put a carb on the intake. Here's my guess for wirering. In fact he'll take off that intake tube up top and just rig a temporary carb on. So if it don't work u just switch back. The only wire u should need are starter. Ur new carb fuel pump. And coil pack. There is 4 wires u need for that coil pack. . There should be a plug with 2 wires. That is for power. Red is positive. On the plug with all the wires it'll be A through F. Starts on purple ends on red with black stripe. U need wire A which is one crank position sensor wire and wire E the other crank position wire. Please if u try this let me know. It wouod be help full because if this works. We could possibly carb alot of other 4 cylinder cars just like how i wanna try carbing other 6 cylinder cars with gm ignition control modules

I got mid 90’s Pontiac sunfire with a 2200 in it and it cranks over but only fires when you pour gas or carb cleaner in the intake. Any suggestions? Thanks
