I have a 9" oit of a 77-79 Thunderbird. Its smaller then the 9" ouf my full size cars. Will it fit under a gremlin or will it be to wide?

So rules got changed on me. So rules for the show im running say i must run stock rear housing to the car. How are the rear ends in these cars?
