If you can weld the sub to the uni, I'd pick the Pacer. Pacer also has superior a-arms

I always say back bumpers are over rated, but I never spend much time in reverse.
It would take a pretty hardcore build for a Gremlin or Hornet to handle a pointy.

The right rules can make it hard at both ends (the Gremlin anyway). By nature, the nose is stiffer than the rear.

I need some tips on motor mounts to put a 2.5 in my 77 gremlin Use the stock mounts on the block. Drill out SBC block mounts bolting that to the mount bolted to the block. Then you can use the clamshell mounts on the K member

Easiest way to put a cage in and do up the front suspension IMO Take you 10-15 minutes if that.

Guys I have a 74 gremlin in which the bellhousing is cracked from top to bottom. I think in my research it is a chrysler trans. Do you think that this will have a special bell for the straigh six engine or will a small or big block chrysler trans work ont hat straight six motor? I was thinking of switching it out and i have a few chrsyler trans laying around to pick from, Thanks in advance for any info.

AMC incorporated their own bell on it. However, all AMC plants, from the 232 straight 6 up to the 401 V8 all used the same bell housing. A trans from just about any 2wd AMC car will work. I would take it in & get the crack professionally welded. On a separate note, ran the 76 Gremlin last night. Got 2nd out of 6 (hung up). Don't look much different than before. Used 75 Gremlin shocks, collapsed and welded with a seam welded Vic bumper.
