Is there a 16" GM wheel that is 5 lug, that'd fit on a Metric GM without a weld-in center?

The tires I want on, are about 5-6 inches wide, and I wanted a wider wheel. If it comes down, I'll have to put the spares on. But I got a winter to look.

TripleM214 - I have run the 16 inch spare dummys tons of times over the years, especially when I first started out. I put massive Buckshots and Co-Ops on them. In all the years I ran them, I only got one flat. Once mounted, they are seamingly impossible to knock of the bead, especially tubed.

I'd think it'd be challenge because they're so skinny.

Can you mount up a 27-12-15 on a SS wheel?

Can you mount up a 27-12-15 on a SS wheel? A SS wheel is 7 inches wide. My guess would be no. You would likely need a 15x10 inch rim. Why would you want tires that wide? Are you running a mud truck or a circle track, dirt track, or drag car?

I believe so... Prob won't fit if the SS's are only 7 wide.

Has anyone welded 3/8 wheel centers on the back side of Buick wheels? I've done it to the Pontiacs with success but haven't tried a Buick yet. I bought some tires all ready mounted on Buicks and thought I would give them a shot. I figure people have done it before so I'd appreciate some feedback.

Thanks stromi.. All the junk yards around here don't even have 80s cars anymore. I'll see what I can find on Craig's list
