I'm also thinking that it'll bend like crazy and ontop of that getting hit just right and taking a shot off that angle probably wouldn't be the greatest thing compared to tubing

Got to talking to a guy today about how we set hight on rearends and he asked me well what do you do if you don't have a backhoe or tractor to push the rearend down if you're so stiff that you can't get desired hight lower. Just got me to thinking what are different ways everyone has used to suck the rear of the car together to get the bumper hight your after

I thought he was kinda calling tilting stretching when he was talking about cutting the tabs thats why I was confused as to why you'd need a porta power lol. But you could pull it forward by hand if you cut enough lmao not sure if it would be beneficial though haha

I'm confused as to why you need to portapower between engine and trans crossmember if you cut the tabs you can usually move the frame by hand...Am I missing something?

I figured I would just refresh the thread with some pictures. Best advice, a mini sledge, a ball peen, a compressor and an air hammer are your best friends. Work slow, your not in a hurry to get anywhere, and tackle one area at a time and work your way across. And for the love of God wear ear protection! We try and do most of ours right outside the shop to kinda help with the noise helps a little.Although the weather doesn't always cooperate and ya gotta do it in the shop lol

Anyone ever done the trunk on one of these like they do on caddies? Been looking at mine and wondering if it'd be worth doing or not. Guessing not? Might just have to try it and see lol

Got a question I've known about guys using these gm lift spindles but we had a guy at our local derby Saturday run some for a dodge he claimed that looked beefy as hell. He apparently showed the promoter the link to where he got them and says its legit. Anyone know anything about dodge lift spindles? He had them on a caddy if that matters to anyone lol

I'll give you a couple examples of gray area or cheating w.e you want to call it that happened last night at my hometown show.
Example 1: one guy got turned away for having after market spindles for a car when the rules clearly say no aftermarket spindles only stock oem are allowed. Well another driver was allowed to run with aftermarket spindles on his car that are for a dodge truck that you have to oder off a website.
Example 2: one guy with an 03 and newer got turned away because he had a weld in steel cradle and another guy had the same thing only difference is he built it to go over the factory aluminum cradle.
So there is a couple prime examples of what pushing gray area is.
Also anyone know anything about these truck spindles? They looked just as beefy as ski spindles lol

Wait i think I misinterpreted your question. If your asking if the GM rad is the same as the Ford then no they're different
