Just installed my Dec headers on my roadmaster wagon and now it won't start. We removed the A/C can and cut the lines, cut wires to tail lights, removed the purge tank, and I accidentally cut wires to what looks to be a mini air compressor by the front driver side tire. Also, when removing the stock manifolds the passenger side had a tube coming off of it that ran into the back of the intake manifold. Could any off these things cause it not to start? It will spit and sputter with starting fluid

Headlight wires were also cut. Any ideas?

Was there a fuel pump wire ran through the taillight loom?

Not sure. I remember last year on my cutlass Ciera somebody said something to me about it. We cut only the wires that ran to the lights themselves. If there is one, does anybody know what color it would be or where I could find a diagram?

Are you running the stock tank still?

You need to cap off the hole in the intake. That will cause a bad vacuum leak.

Yes still running stock tank just to move around the yard but switching to my boat tank isn't a big deal. And what should I use to cap the hole?

We figured out the fuel pump. We cut a ground on accident. Now the car would start for a second or two and you could rev it but as soon as you would let off to let it idle its dies. It did this to us like 4-5 times. Is it because there is no o2 sensors? Can I bypass them or do I need to get them fitted for the headers?

What motor is in it? Nobody can help without all the variables. We need more information. Is this a derby car? Is it currently fuel injected, and if so are you planning to run it that way? Etc.

Would I be able to just tie the o2 sensors out of the way and still have the car run right?

Sounds like a huge vacuum leak
