Normally a hei has around 17-20 degrees of mechanical advance. So I modified a hei so I could still run real low base timing and have decent timing on the top end.

Just ran it again last Saturday, 3rd derby on motor and 3rd time it got hot and locked up. Timing helped it start warm but it locks. How much should one overbore the cylinders? My pistons gotta be too tight.

Timing is set at 0, 2brl motor craft with 52 or 54 jets.
