Sparks what wire did you use to ground the voltage regulator? I took a self tapping screw and went to the cowl with mine the ground is the metal casing. If that makes any sense.

My regulator is plastic and is on the back of the alt. I have power to the green wire I have the orange/ black wires run together to the batt. But I still have a yellow wire with a white stripe. I have 2 plugs with 3 wires each. Any idea where the yellow wire goes?

I know the green/ red has to go to a toggle switch. The orange and black go to the battery. The white/black loop between the plugs. I have a yellow / white wire that I can't figure out where it needs to go. The regulator is plastic and screws right o to the back of the alt. I wanna say it's a 2g alt.

Start at 0 degrees and your gonna be damn close fords dont love much timing but it depends on the motor every one is different ive ran up to 8 degrees advanced on a worn out loose motor with over 300,000 miles and 2 years of figure 8s and derbys. But my current 302 had 67,000 miles and it loves 0 and still turns over and starts up if it gets super hot and dies
