Going to put a double roller timing chain in her this weekend, got the 4 into 1 headers on and the HEI distributer on and it sounds great so far. Still have to rebuild the carb too. But I gotta figure my brake master cylinder situation out first. Lol

OK I didn't see anything about this particular thing. What would u guys say to going to direct timing gears instead of gears and chain? Or just stick with a new double roller set? Just curious on thought of direct timing gears

Just stick with gears and chain. For what the gears cost, there's no true gain. I've used a couple sets in customer engine builds in street apllications, and honestly, I hated them. I've always had issues with the timing, it tends to sway, being as the gears have to have a gap to mesh. Plus, they can be quite noisy.

So I have the 351m in my wagon. I bought the intake gasket kit for it and all it had was the rubber ends for the valley and the valley pan gasket. Do u guys get actual gaskets to go along with the intake? I'm putting a edelbrock aluminum performer intake on it if that makes a difference. Thank you
