Do intakes interchange with other motors or not since deck heights are different? as far as i know,,,, M intakes are unique to that motor,,

wow.. that looked good,,, and sounded good too,,, what took ya out,, ? we have a mark with a 351M,, with a derby left in it,,might run it again next year,, ..........lenny

running a stock 400 sbf in a truck in about a month and wondering whats best way to keep it cool. just going to be a chain and go type and would probly only last 15 minutes max. should i leave stock steel fan on? remove and mout electric fan? or run no fan at all?
thanks for any advice!

1st,, use a small oil filter on it,, a fram ph 16 fits,,
lucus and 20/50 oil,,, use a good starter in case it stalls,,
its gonna get hot after the radiator breaks,,
we don't use a cooling system on ours,,, loop system,, with no water pump,,
I have a heat shield under the carb and spacer,,, and blocked off exhaust crossovers in the intake,,
keep that gas cool,,

Any1 got pics on how they flipped the manifolds and made there stacks, and some where I read there is a problem with doing this, it's not a direct bolt on...?

Its going good Lenny! Going to put a double roller timing chain in her this weekend, got the 4 into 1 headers on and the HEI distributer on and it sounds great so far. Still have to rebuild the carb too. But I gotta figure my brake master cylinder situation out first. Lol nice,,, go with manual brakes,,, I cut up a ford booster up and welded the front to the back,,, and installed a 1967 chevy impala manual cylinder,,, ya have to make a pedel stop so the rod doesn't fall out,,now ya have one for every ford car,,
