Thanks noser for posting the pics, me to, I've ran a couple gms in the past and they all want to push back then up, I figured if I took some of the angle off the S bend it'd make it a little harder, opposed to tiltin at the cross member that keeps the same bend, who knows lol
It's getting ran next year with kickers, down bars and 12 inch bumper shocks, fingers crossed

Kickers make alot of vehicles equal. That frame is an interesting concept, can't wait to hear how it works. We did something similar on one, no kickers or DP, would not nose up, just kept pushing further in (bent floorboards to where it broke the pedal). Learning experience, only down fall was turning became impossible it was pushed back so far. Im going to be experimenting with one soon. Will take pictures along the way.

With the dp and kickers your keeping the bend from happening and the usual push back to stop up to the end of the kickers. Yes they will work and very well BUT there is ways to keep a frame from pushing back which everyone says dp/tp but thats all great and dandy if your trying to keep it from bending down... you gotta look low like cradle to tranny x-member. And how to keep your cross member from shoving back.our rules here in mn at certain shows allow a all the fancy braces which we build a lower unit for under the engine and transmission which can not be welded or bolted and connect the engine cradle to the transmission cross member. If you can figure That out than your on your way to making some nasty cars

Whenever I have pushed or pulled on gms, I always put the jacks under the firewall mounts and pull down and then push out from the dash bar to the front bumper with a porta power. I have liked the results in the past for sure. With kickers these cars still try to dump eventually under the front doors if it is a c-channel frame under there.

I would only tilt an 71-76 fullsize GM if it had hump plates, GTP, and had the rear low and the front high. Otherwise there is no point in tilting.
