Pulling the front frame section down so its level with the center frame section of the car instead of it pointing upwards like they do stock.

Keeps the front end down and, pushes back first before twisting up in theory but is another way to control the frame

Ypu of need a car trailer two chains and a floor jack. Chain over frame horns by bumper than chain car down tight in the back and put your floor jack under car in desired bend spot even them put on each side and your done.

If you cut the frame that's no longer considered cold tilting....

I tilted my '86 Cadillac last year. There is a seam behind the "crush boxes" on the frame. I simply cut that seam with a grinding wheel, let the front frame fall 4 inches and then welded it together again. It worked, but with only 4'' of tilt allowed, I don't think it was quite enough to be perfect.

Ok so I have an 83 deville, I plan to make it pro mod.. Never built any full weld cars so I have all kinds of questions. What is tilting and how do you do it. Heard lots of good things about it. Read that it makes the car last longer and harder
