Looking to see how to weld up a 76 Chevy bumper. Does anyone have any pictures of how they welded them up?

Would the front bumper off of a 1980 buick regal be good for a stock show? Looks like the bumper has a bunch of steel on it and it's got a little bit of a point to it. Not a bumper I'd run on front. Maybe on rear.

No it was a light weld show. It wouldn't have helped backing ripped, only thing holding it in one piece is the chrome skin

I'd put a ford bumper or mopar bumper on for no weld show.

what about late 70s early 80s caprice bumpers?? its a stock show... bumpers are slim pickings around here.. it would be going on an 86 mark 7

Not impressed with my first 76 Impala bumper My first and last (at least to go on the front of a Chevy) '76. Seam welded and mounted upside down (don't ask, it was years ago)... Granted it was mounted to a HARD front end. Some people like them on BOP's because they are a little more forgiving on that longer more leveraged front frame. They just can't hang on a Chevy, IMO....
