I wasn't thinking you had the pickup tube just the pan but yeah c4 should work

Ok. Ya, I have a fully dressed builder out of a 76-77 Pinto wagon, to rob parts from. Thanks.
With cheater's thought, I may need to cut and re-mark dipstick......if there is even any oil sitting up in that part of the pan.

I cut the firewall and ran a rear sump back in 2010. you better have a kicker to the back of the head or you'll fold that thing up quick. I buckled the center hump quick my air filter was smashed in half and my carb linkage was messed up because the carb was at the fire wall at the end of the first show. Knowing what I do now I would like to build another one.

Yeah 3 years ago you didn't see many of those on 2.3s lol I still don't run one. but I haven't ripped a head off yet.

Exactly^^^ I got mine built by a buddy of mine lol. Couldn't turn it down. Especially after sending my valve cover through the firewall

Ok......will an older front sump Pinto pan fit on a mid 80's engine from a fox body? Yup go right on if you swap pumps and pick up tubes.

Is your 74 a 2.0? if it is I think it will still bolt on but the compression chamber will be a little smaller.
