I have an 84 celica coupe. What do they need help with? How tough are the trunks? All the rwd Toys from the mid 70's on up are pretty close the same platform. Struts are the weak point. The 76 Celica pictured on the previous page. As you can see from the pix, If you can't use kickers up to the a-arms, mount your bumper in the stock location & let 'er roll up instead of dropping it down flush with the frame. That was our 3rd Celica and maybe 6th or 7th rwd Toy. Never seen any of my trunk model Toys go backward much, so I can't help on that.

Thanks C4. I will have to do some experimenting on the trunks. I want to crease the trunk but is it really worth it

What was the last year of the rwd supra Stayed rwd through the end of their production run in '02. For 86, the Celica and Supra became different platforms. Celica went to fwd. Supra stayed rear wheel.

So what was the last good year of the supra meaning being able to drop a 2.3 in for a weld show and the car holding up been wondering cause I know there tuff cars and I've seen some run don't think I've seen anything after an 80's one derby

I bought a 83 supra and on the front suspension it just has one lower a-arm with the strut going to it what im wondering is one of the ones I seen run at bash for cash had upper and lower a-arms trying to figure out if they install them up there or if I just have a different year or if I can make the car just as tuff by welding in a sold strut in the suspension I have now my suspension don't have to bounce

Last of the A-arm Toyotas were before the Supra came around, so I'm guessing they came off something else.
