The frame seemed solid but body is shot. Is it worth picking up? For a good price yes for sure...

I plan on running it in bone stock class. We are allowed to change body bolts and weld the front bumper on. Four point cage with halo and gas tank protector and that's pretty much it.

Sent from my C811 4G using proboards English motherfucka do you speak it! In all honesty with those rules I would but a flat bumper on. Pointy puts to much leverage on a stock car in my opinion.

Hi guys,
After a year of hard labor, i am getting ready to turn my 1973 Boat tail Rivy loose tomorrow night. I enjoyed the tips in this forum and referenced them a few times. I would like to give back to the forum and continue to help unlock the mysteries on the rears of these cars..
If anyone wants to post some pics on here for me.. text me at (540 325 9078) and i will send them to you...
My car is far from stock, here is how i built it....
*Frame boxed end to end with Wells Fargo bank vault steel scraps from a job *Frame is seam welded top and bottom end to end *Most holes in frame were plug welded shut *Kickers to behind the front A arms *Cage tied to frame several places including behind the A arms and runs around the back window with a kicker back to the start of the trunk lid *Cage roll over tied into roof to keep it in place *Massive hump plates *Nerat trans protector with bell, drivetrain porta-powered way back till the engine protector started bending.... *Back bumper re-inforced, factory front but solid shocks into front frame 10" *Bracked rear with axle protectors, drive line brakes, .514 gear with a full spool and a Nerat shifter much more.. gotta get back to work

With a 73 bumper, I would use the stock one too!!! If you have had a real 73 bumper or even pulled it apart you could see why!

IDK, these bumpers are pretty hard... we will see tomorrow how she does..
Noser is going to post some pics of car. Then i will send him some afters.. Thanks brother.
Some evil cars i will be running against.. 4K to win payout show in Woodstock Va today..
Planning on abusing my car till she croaks.. Should get some good data on what this rear does.. Cage is designed to keep the roof in place and the trunk in its general area. Anticipate the quarter panels blowing out and the whole mess balling up..
Being coiled with the frame boxed to hell and back i spent considerable time working on it at the bottom of the hump plates as i dont want it buckling down there....
Everyone knows these are noser cars but i want the rear to at least not take the car out of contention...
