where would yall suggest tilting one of these rivys at? I can run a 2"x2" crossmember, so I could see the benefit of tilting there. but I can also see the benefits of tilting at the firewall and getting creative with the body mounts/spacers. I will try to post a lot of pics over the course of the next couple weeks. I am running my 72 on june 20th....

turned out awesome. broke the pointy off and layed it in the radiator lol. I've got several pics and a good video. I will try to post pics in the next day or two. not bad for a semi stock car. here's the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLbPwzLwiO8

Looked like the pointy rolled up awful fast.

it was hardnosed with shocks in the frame. bumper was welded to shock plates and shock plates to frame. had everything welded but not good enough. forgot to weld bottom edges of bumper to frame, so it just unzipped from there...

Welded it along the top to the c-channel that connects frame rails, then used some 3/8" flat bar bent into L shape to use as bumper brackets on the side of the frame. I was shocked it flattened the bumper and never started to roll. I had a huge dimple in the c-channel on both sides before it turned to box. I think it was because I was lower than everyone. the back ended up lower than I was wanting...ohwell.

Love how the car sits. Put a little pitch in it, plate the bends, and kickers, it should be pretty mean up front.

I did tilt it at the firewall, but think I could have tilted it a little more. was my first time ever doing it, so I was a little unsure of things. I tilted it just a little past level (frame behind bumper was like 1-/2 to 3/4" lower than in front of firewall)...

I checked out a 72 rivi tonight. I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference than any other full size of same year, except for front bumper brackets. What am I missing or couldn't see?

The frame seemed solid but body is shot. Is it worth picking up?
