Would anyone be able to post pictures of how to mount front bumper? And also how everyone is putting a sbc in one of these? I've got a 78 doba I'm building and its pretty clean, my build rules are limited weld. I've got the k sucked tight and welded, seams are welded firewall forward. My show is in 2 weeks and I've never built one of these... I'm way to lazy and don't feel like losing the time to read every page on this thread. Any tips I can get for limited weld would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You saying your to lazy to read the thread won't get you any responses to your question, plus limited weld means different things in different places. . As for how to mount your bumper? You have a welder don't you.....

I know it's a little sparser around here nowadays, but I have a question when it comes to rust. The driver's rear frame rail is kind of bad and the same for passenger side. It's all between the bumper and before the hump so I was just wondering if it was something to be worried about if I run it. My thought was that it would pack in really nice, but maybe I'm wrong. photos.app.goo.gl/KfGNuge987EkTT13A

I'd pull the k frame and crush that turd. Yeah that's what I thought. I had some other relatives in the game tell me they've run worse, but I'm liking the idea of pulling the bumper shocks and k frame and investing my time into a clean y framer I just found.

I know if varies on what you run against and how you weld and what results your looking for but ive had great luck with 78/79 doba fronts. Strictly beat down and seam welded everything ends curl around and never did anyrhing goofy with the point or center. Ive only ran 2 but they were both good with 2 or 3 good full runs on them. Different driving styles can Obviously affect them and rust but I tend to drive with the corner of my bumpers first for a while until things start heating up. But the 78s seem to be what have worked best for me. Had a 76 but never ran it. Seen to many do horrible things
