You should be ok. I wouldn't run 10in spacers though. Use a 7 or 8 inch and suck the core support down tight.

Well I just tack welded my first tilt on a bare frame. With no motor no transmission to the bottom of the front frame horn its 22 1/4 inch. Rear bumper is about 24-25" to the center of bumper.Still need to bolt up rear shocks too. Is this a good tilt? How much more will the front drop with body and 351w / c6 drop it?I put a bubble level on the motor mounts because it was the area that was flat. Its a tad under level with the front of the frame on the down side and crush box up side. another words nose downward.
Thanks. Also its titled on the inside of crush box towards engine. Inside.

the main ? is is are you going to leave the assend where it is or run it low or what ? the lower you go with the ass the more tilt you want to do

I will probally leave it where it is.I will notch it twice and tuck it. I hardly use it all unless I just make a hit within allotted time limit.Car is for stock style derbies.

I want front to stay at hight that it is now.roughly. I'm concerned how much it will drop with the extra weight with stock suspension. We aren't allowed to weld solid.

If this helps anyone at all. Here's a picture. This is the passenger side frame. Up front of the box towards engine you can see a tab that is right in front of it. I used a chisel and separated that as well to make it easier to tilt. I cut everything except for the bottom. The factory welds on the frame are poor to begin with so might as well cut and re-weld. Are you only to cut the front tab off? In that case take something so the front end won't go up in-loader works great and take a bottle jack and put it under the crush box and jack it up. You want the bottle jack close to where the tab was cut still under the box.

I used a cut off saw to cut the tabs. Doesn't need to look pretty just get the job done.
