getting ready to start building a bubble.. do u guys think it is better to put the assend low and tilt alot or what do u guys think works best? depends on the rules mostly and how the competition usually has the rear end set height wise, but if your going to tilt set your rear to the height you want it before you tilt.

Set the back bumper at 15 inches to the BOTTOM of bumper with the tire, springs and all in front and rear you will be running. Then tilt it I personally tilt a little past level but to each his own. Right inside the front flap when you tilt there will be a bubble on the framerail. I tilt them til this bubble is all the way to the flap. Then I weld the front bumper on kick the springs or weld a arms and this puts the bottom of the front bumper at 22 inches... and the core support spacers are around 7.5inches.

i mean is there a advantage to setting it low? Depends on how you build the rear of the car.

Then slice it where your bumper shock STOPS.... And dimple it about 8 inches further up the frame...

But make sure you get your second set of dimples deep enough this will help to take the pressure off the humps when the rails curl...

Hard nosing the bumper before tilting can cause the bumper to point down a bit.
