Does anyone know if the 13" escort wheels will clear the calipers on my 95 escort with 14" wheels 13" wheels do not fit a 95 escort, grinding the caliper does not fit either. decided that rear brakes would be good enough so I removed the front calipers to use the 13s. 90% of the time i lose my whole brake system cause the rear brake lines get cut and ripped. I prefer to get rid of my rear brakes and just run front brakes.

Hello fellas, I have a 95 escort wagon with the 1.9 4-cyl., and my fuel pump I have dropped in my tank is out of a 2002 Taurus with the 3.0 V6. Question is can I use my Taurus pump to run my escort? Obviously don't want to blow my injectors out but wasn't sure being newer cars is there was some kind of fuel pressure regulator in the pump that will allow me to do this? Thanks in advance guys.

Not completly positive, but I do think you will be fine using that pump. The regulator on the escort should keep it under control if the pump has a slightly higher psi rating. I use the same pump from car to car 4cyl or 6 cyl without issue..good luck

^^^^^ agreed. that model is probably the most tough of all the models. ive had the most luck with that generation. tie rods are beasts on those. went thru 2 derbies taking tire shot after tire shot didnt even break them hardly bent.

I used a 14inch shock an it still gave behind it. Hard to stop these rails from being like a noodle.

I have read every post on this forum. What are you guys/Gals doing with the vacuum system when you flip the manifold on a ford 1.9L - Currently building a 1989 2 door hatchback. I have taken it apart slow and steady stripping it the only issue is once i flipped the manifold and removed that main line to the vacuum system i have a high Idle so i know i need to do something there. any help is appreciated.

So better to not weld solid but to have the bumper move when you hit ?
